Stopped for dinner after a fishing trip on Black Oak Lake. Was told there's new ownership and I could tell the difference from my last visit. Service was much better and food was excellent. Friday fish fry was great. Got hungry later and tried the bar pizza. My goodness, it was great! Drink prices are a steal and we will definitely stop in next time we're visiting.

This is always a "Must Go To" spot when we are up at Land 'O Lakes! The atmosphere is fun and the food & drinks are great. We love the bar pizza and the fried cheese curds are amazing...a definite Wisconsin tradition! We also really enjoyed the taco salad. We've been numerous times and have always had great service. The staff knows what they are doing. They are friendly and get to know the patrons well. I hear there is new ownership; we are looking forward to visiting again soon to enjoy our old traditions as well as see what improvements or changes may have been made. Hopefully there aren't too many because it's already fantastic!

Beautiful place, WORST service ever, understaffed with only 2 waitresses, and go figure we get one with an additude! We had to hunt down our own menus, waitress walking aways while she.took our order, appetizers came incomplete..and when I advised that we were missing our guacamole to our chips and salsa, she responded with a slide remark.of..."I didnt know you wanted that"...what a concept to order what you want!! I could go on....but, we will NEVER go back.

DO NOT!! I REPEAT DO NOT eat at black oak in land o lakes wi.. they are serving rotten salsa to the patrons and wouldn't even refund your money back!!

I came here in February of 2013 on a snowmobile trip and two friends received food poisoning from the burgers. We vouched to never eat here again after that experience. Fast forward to the end of December 2013 and this was our only option. We tried it again and it was just ok. I tried the almond crusted duck bites and they were just ok. Tasted as though they were freezer burned from being pre made. A few other guys tried the 8oz filler dinner special and said it was decent. When it all comes down, there are numerous dinner options trail side, and there are better experiences to be had. Great place for a beer, but if unless waiting 45 minutes for a mediocre meal on a slow night is your thing, check out another place.

Great place for beer, pool, darts, etc. But if you want to eat I would go somewhere else. The place looked charming from the road but the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered a pizza and some pan fried perch. Both were pretty average. When we are on vacation, we always look forward to finding some great spots. This would not be it for dinner.

Ok food, bad service. Waited about a half an hour before they even took our order. Didn't get our food till being there for over an hour. Ok food if you have all day to just sit and be ignored.

Food is good, waitress was friendly, excellent cheese burgers. You have to try the duck tenders. We've already gone back for more during the same trip.
